After running against my 'left field' British Attach list several times now, for two loses and a win (which I was lucky to get),I thought I would put it up to see what everyone thinks.

OK, so there's no big antitank guns, but you can add them in an option A or B.
another option would be to ditch 2 stands for an AGC and buy 3 Typhoons as an option A.
I'm not sure if you could knock out a decent defend list along these lines, possibly with 2 large battalions (with AT guns as well) and a 3rd small battalion in support with only 2 artillery regiments.
Feel free to have a go with this and see what you results are, and Axis players, try to come up with ways of beating it.....
Just to clarify, the introductory sentence means "other people have beaten me twice with my own lead using this list, while I've won with it once...", right? :-)
ReplyDeleteHow often do you actually meet really heavy German armour anyway? It's incredibly expensive, and the support troops aren't any more resistant to pounding with artillery than anybody else's...
No, I've played against my own lead/list 3 times for 2 losses and a win. I've yet to have a crack at running it. Its pretty standard that I come up with lists that others have success using (often against me).
ReplyDeleteGerman heavy armour crops up more commonly than you think, especially when Keith is involved.
I still remember the incredulous cry or "Jajdpanthers?" that rang round one nationals competition. I beleve that they may have been the hidden stands allowed on defence.....
Jagdpanthers, never leave home without them, especially of you are heading to the Eastern Front.
